i have be taking enbrel for 2 months and methotrexate for 10 months it doesnt seen to be working incredibly well, i am still within alot of pain and i swellis here any use taking enbrel and methotrexate?
I assume you are on first vein anti inflammatory agents such as steroids, ibuprofen, aspiring Alever etc. These drugs you mentioned are not to relieve symptoms, but stop the progress of the disease in your joint.
I don't know what enbrel is, but i was on methotrexate for around 10 months, and it had lone a very minor effect. It of course wasn't worth the potential side effects and monthly blood tests!
I don't know going on for enbrel but methotrexate is a very strong medication, it stops your body from producing untried cells and is deeply competent at doing that. Methotrexate is not for pain nouns it tackles the make happen not the symptoms.
Go back to your doctor and bring back some pain nouns
