i was taking prilosec till my insurance wouldn't pay packet for it anymore;and went on ranididine it's alike to me if not better.since I've be on i.;Ive had no more heartburns or food coming up my throat and that's a champ in my book..
Well protonix is the strongest and it starts working faster than the other two. Prilosec seem to take forever for it to start working and ranididine does work resourcefully but not as well as protonix.
ranitidine have been around longer than the other two, but as your previous answerer said protonix is best
Always move about with a generic. and you may find Tums or any generic on that one purely as effective, depending upon the amount of bitter reflux you have..
